Rapid connection of new wall to existing without cutting out and toothing or bonding in. Individual “turn and slide” ties accommodate all sizes of brick and block. Suitable for all wall leaf thicknesses from 60mm – 250mm.
Tools required for installation: Spirit level, drill with 10mm masonry bit, 10mm socket or box spanner.
Benefits
- Design shear strength 3.5kN over 2290mm height on existing masonry of solid clay bricks, solid dense and lightweight aggregate concrete blocks and solid aerated concrete blocks of minimum compressive strength 3.5/mm squared.
- Suitable for walls up to three storeys high, maximum 8m high, subject to the load limit above.
- Accommodates maximum 10mm vertical settlement movement.
